The company is operating in
several segments across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, British Virgin islands,
Hongkong, Phillipines, Cayman islands and UK. It consists of financial service,
property, investment, information technology and retail car rental. Based on
its annual report the biggest part of revenue in 2014 was from investment
segment, the second was financial service and leasing.
Its subsidiaries which are
operating in technology were inari amerton sdn berhad and Insas Technology
Berhad. Inari Amerton serve in semiconductor packaging, radio frequency final
testing and optoelectronics. Meanwhile, Insas Technology berhad runs its
business in e-payment technology and service.
Key Person
Mr Tan Sen chuang as an expert in
information technology was appointed to fill position as executive director of
Insas berhad. He graduated from imperial college London and also holds Master
degree and Phd from Harvard University. Mr.
Tan has such project in mobile wallet product, He and his partner, Norma Sit
was processing the patent right of their mobile wallet in Singapore and
Malaysia. Mr. Tan is handling the creature of its system of payment. The idea
came from Norma who was inspired by payment of tithe in Islamic society. (source:

Norma Sit was a founder of Numoni
pte, Ltd, the winner of innovation contest in Singapore which was conducted by
OCBC group in 2014. Numoni was acquired by Insas berhad through its subsidiary
Insas technology Berhad (ITB) with Sale Share agreement.
Mr Thong Kok Khee holds position
as executive deputy chairman and CEO of Insas Berhad. Mr. Thong graduated from
London School of economics. Mr. Thong is also the non executive director of
subsidiaries. He was working as director of corporate division of Standard
Chartered merchant bank of Singapore in 1988. Mr. Thong is also the second
biggest share holder with 6.53 % share of Insas.
