Norma Sit is a Digital Banker.  She founded Numoni Pte Ltd in 2012, a Fintech company headquartered in Singapore with operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia.  She is a member of the Board of Numoni and she is proud of the pedigree of her co-directors from whom she learns much as the Board works closely together to bring Numoni forward into new paradigms of Digital Financial Services for ASEAN.  In 2014, Numoni acquired a Thrift Bank in the Philippines, where she currently chairs the Board and is transforming the Bank into a Digital Bank.  Numoni today holds e-wallet and remittance licenses in Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore.  Numoni serves the Underbanked of ASEAN, an estimated market of about 400m people. KPMG has listed Numoni as one of the 100 Most Innovative Fintechs Globally in their latest report.  Numoni has won multiple awards including the National IT Award in Singapore in 2014 for Most Innovative Product and Service, and the Singtel Best Innovation Award under the Emerging Enterprise Award 2014 organised by BusinessTimes and OCBC Bank.
In  the National Social Enterprise Committee formed under the aegis of the Ministry of Community Youth and Sports. She represented 'Women in IT in the Economy' for Singapore at APEC at St Petersburg in 2014, and is an invited keynote speaker at many conferences and platforms, and of late, at platforms about Financial Inclusion.
She was awarded 'Great Women of Our Time' by the Singapore Women's Weekly for her role in Arts and The Media, A Fellow of the Leadership Foundation of the International Women Forum, and an inaugural recipient of 'Women Who Make A Difference', an award by The International Alliance of Women.  She represents Singapore as appointed to the ASEAN Business Advisory Council and chairs the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Businesswomen Working Group with a focus to empower women economically in ASEAN.  Her latest award to be announced in April 2016 is '"Greatest Individual Contribution to Financial Inclusion in Asia" as awarded in the SMART Awards Asia.


 She graduated top of her class with First Class Honours in Materials Engineering from Monash University and was an AIDAB EMSS scholar at the Australia Graduate School of Management at University of New South Wales, winning the AGSM Award in Corporate Strategy.  She has two children and a great dog.
